The 2 Partners selling this firm are looking forward to retirement but are willing to stay up to 1 year, part-time, to ensure a smooth transition. There are currently 1 part-time employee and 4 full-time employees. It is unknown at this time if these employees are likely to stay after the sale. Approximately 1% of clients come in for an appointment, 1% will drop off, 93% mail-in while the remaining 5% will remit their documents electronically. The current office space, owned by the Sellers, and may be leased for up to 1 year, possibly longer if the Sellers are agreeable to it. Should the Buyer choose to relocate, it is advisable the new location should be kept within a reasonable distance of its current location for best client retention.
